For theirs is the
kingdom of heaven
The beautitudes are bracketed by “for theirs is the kingdom
of heaven.” It’s the first reward, and the last reward.
The kingdom of heaven is in opposition to the kingdom of
earth.
When Jesus came to
earth, He was the Great Invader. The demons who saw Him cried out in horror, “I
know who you are—the Holy One of God.”
So why is it that we are so concerned about making a name
for ourselves in this kingdom of earth? This is the place where all of us who
are Believers will be released from when the last Trumpet sounds.
